My Little Corner of the World

Because I love to see other folks' work spaces, I just naively think that everybody does. This is our living room where I spin. Normally the drapes are open so that I get great light. Cassie, my Golden, is usually to the left of my chair, and Max, our Sheltie, lays along the wall to the right. Bliss, I tell you....

Tomorrow I am going to Corunna to stay overnight with the grandgirls, get them to school on Friday, and bring them home for a week. Their folks are taking high school students to Costa Rica. And my other daughter is in Germany chaperoning high school students for two weeks. This daughter, Terre, is a high school counselor here in Ithaca. Don't you think that it's amazing and wonderful that kids today have such wonderful opportunities?

I love seeing other's workspaces. I am just a tad jealous though of how organized your's is.

Enjoyed seeing your spinning area. I don't have one set up yet. My wheel just ended up in an empty space until it finds its real home.

Your little work corner looks so comfy and inviting.
I love it when Jakes sleeps at my feet while I knit. I could sit and knit for hours like that.

I love seeing other people's work areas too! Looks very comfy and cozy. :) Love that Cassie and Max hang out with you (love Goldens *and* Shelties!!).

Your workspace looks like something that should be put in a fiber arts version of Architectural Digest! My little corner needs the help of Extreme Home Makeover. It's just a total mess. :)

I love your spot! My problem is that I don't have a spot. Of course, I can carry my knitting around with me - from den to bedroom - but I wish I had a SPOT where I could leave my stuff. This morning I took pictures of some new pendants, went to load them on the computer, and of course one of the cats was LYING on top of them, right where I'd left them. AHHHHH
:0)
PS elephant from your yarn is georgeous, will send a pic when she's done.
