Our friends on the U.P. surely are. Just to go to the store or the doctor they plow their own road and then the one mile road leading to the county road. Derry NH got hit with an ice storm and we were without power for 14 days until Christmas Eve. I am just now catching up online. Thanks for the comments about my socks. I want to see you 'onesies,' even if you don't have the second socks knit. I am a sock nut!
Stay warm!
Denise in NH (fibergrannyDenisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15886755159180585444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8927702880641111832.post-55051934510267428152009-01-12T15:44:00.000-05:002009-01-12T15:44:00.000-05:00Thanks for the photos! We don't get much of it down here.
Glad you have Josh, gives you more time to enjoy the little things.
Very happy that Junior is doing so well! We've had very warm, very dry weather since early December and are anticipating the arrival of three coldfronts over the next week or so. Of course, that doesn't mean snow like what you have. Oh! No! But cooler temperatures and some rain showers would be very helpful during this oh-so-dry season! My yarn arrived today and it's absolutely beautiful! I'm going to make a scarf, but I don't know whether I'll knit it or crochet it yet. I'll play when I get home tonight and figure it out! Thanks so much to you and Indy! Stay warm and kiss Cassie for me! Best wishes to you and your alpacas from Constance in sunny, south Florida where it's 80 degrees today!PoetC7https://www.blogger.com/profile/11544744109708024717noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8927702880641111832.post-76020572023372060172009-01-12T13:49:00.000-05:002009-01-12T13:49:00.000-05:00*shivers* I am glad you got the heat fixed.
